I never imagined a simple cup of tea could change the course of my life… but here we are.

The Kind Tea Co began as a quiet dream. A seed planted during slow mornings, scribbled ideas, and stolen moments between work, motherhood, and the everyday chaos of life. I didn’t know exactly what it would become, I just knew I wanted to create something kind. Something nourishing. Something that felt like an exhale.

At its heart, The Kind Tea Co is about more than tea. It’s about creating pause. A moment to connect with yourself. To breathe. To be.

Why Tea?

There’s something sacred about the ritual of making tea... the kettle boiling, the scent of herbs rising, the warmth of the cup in your hands. It invites slowness. It encourages stillness. It’s a gesture of care for ourselves and for each other.

I wanted to bottle that feeling and offer it to the world.

Tea felt like the perfect vessel for my values - sustainability, mindfulness, and conscious living. And by using hemp seed as our hero ingredient, I could celebrate one of nature’s most powerful, sustainable plants... packed with nutrients, grown with care, and bursting with possibility. 

This incredible plant is more than just a trend... it’s a symbol of what’s possible when we choose sustainability, regeneration, and conscious consumption. Including hemp seed in our blends is our way of championing this industry, supporting its growth in Australia, and showing that small choices, like the tea we drink, can be part of something much bigger.

The Road to Launch

I’ll be honest, this launch didn’t happen on schedule. It didn’t come with fireworks or perfect planning. Life, as it tends to do, had other ideas. There were delays. Doubts. Days I wondered if I could really do it. And truthfully… it’s still not perfect.

But slowly, gently, The Kind Tea Co came to life. Piece by piece. Blend by blend. I followed what felt aligned. I trusted that good things take time.

This isn’t just a business to me. It’s a love letter to slow living. To kindness... in action, in intention, and in every cup.
